I had a brilliant time playing with transfer dyes and experimenting with colour. Here is my piece of work so far..

Without Pins is the title of my Patchwork classes. I am a Quilter, textile teacher and general fabric collector - or does it come and find me? I like to play with colour and subvert pattern by the use of tone. I have always sewn and stitch something, somewhere, every day.

I think leaves, but hey that's the great thing about art, it's open to interpretation. Gorgeous use of colour too, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think they're leaves. But who knows. If you embellish the piece somewhat you could make them into feathers or Cypress trees.
