Never again will I use cheap fabric for the background. There is no give in this poplin and it pulls and tries to pucker.
The overall design is pleasing and I hope it will look much better when it is quilted. It is about 53" square before quilting.
Without Pins is the title of my Patchwork classes. I am a Quilter, textile teacher and general fabric collector - or does it come and find me? I like to play with colour and subvert pattern by the use of tone. I have always sewn and stitch something, somewhere, every day.

Wheels done
