Without Pins is the title of my Patchwork classes. I am a Quilter, textile teacher and general fabric collector - or does it come and find me? I like to play with colour and subvert pattern by the use of tone. I have always sewn and stitch something, somewhere, every day.

Zakka Style Pinkeepers
I like the idea of Zakka style... making something attractive and useful from scraps that might otherwise be wasted. Seems very William Morris, have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
I've spent today getting out my Christmas decorations and dressing my little tree.

Pincushions
I've been making pincushions for a week or so, they are definitely addictive. Every time i tidy up some more of my stash I think of making another batch.
There are ones made with Linen and old lace or ribbon:

Some bright ones with lots of buttons and Linen again... I like Linen.
And my current favourites, patches with Bunting! Some of these will be on sale at Winterton Quilters Christmas Fair on December 7th.
